With Mother’s Day here, I want to take a moment to celebrate the most supportive woman in my life my mum. She has been there for me through every creative spark, every wild idea, and every new adventure, always showing up with love, encouragement n open heart and abit of ‘oh what now’ haha.
Mum, thank you for questioning my dreams, but accepting I can do it, even when they seemed a little unconventional. Like the time I turned your garage into a candle workshop, covering everything with wax, yet you embraced the chaos and supported me every step of the way. That first business, Beanmade, ended up shaping so much of what I do today, and you were right there beside me, believing in it before I even knew where it would take me.
Thank you for the early mornings at wedding fayres and markets, standing beside me as we set up stalls in the cold, waiting for the world to wake up and discover my candles. You never complained, never hesitated you simply showed up, helping me share my work with new people and making every moment feel like an adventure.
Thank you for joining me on my art adventure in Thailand, supporting me with approaching art galleries and chasing commissions. Relaxing on Koh Samui island with you will always be a fabulous memory.
Thank you for flying all the way to China just to support my scented art exhibition. That trip wasn’t just about the event, it was about showing me that no matter where I go in the world, I am never alone. Your presence in Beijing meant everything, standing there with pride as I shared my work with a new audience.
Thank you for being part of my hands-on healing workshop, not just as a supportive mum but as someone who fully embraced the experience. You didn’t just watch you joined in, got your hands covered in paint, and understood the power of creativity as a tool for expression and connection.
You’ve always been my biggest supporter, my anchor, and my reminder that with love, patience, and a little bit of courage, anything is possible. Thank you for everything, Mum. I am endlessly grateful.
Happy Mother’s Day ❤️
