Sometimes the best things happen when you just say YES.
Last week I packed my bags and flew to Spain for a last minute business retreat organised by the amazing Debbie from Queen Bee & Co. I did not overthink it or plan it months in advance. I just felt the nudge and went with it. And honestly it was one of the best decisions I have made in a long time.
As someone who is usually juggling a hundred creative things at once it was such a gift to step out of my usual environment and give myself the headspace to breathe. There is something so powerful about removing yourself from the day to day and landing somewhere fresh, new faces, new energy & new inspiration.
I met the most incredible group of women. All with different businesses stories and ideas and we just clicked. We shared we learned we laughed a lot. It reminded me how much you can gain just from being in a room with other creative souls who are also chasing their dreams.
I came home relaxed, with new ideas for my business but with a clearer mind a lighter heart and a deeper confidence in the path I am on, where ever I may now walk.
So, if you have been thinking about going on a retreat or saying yes to something spontaneous this is your sign.
You only live once.
Take the leap.
Book the thing.
Go meet the people, you never know how it could change you.
